There are two kinds.

There's the girl gamer, and the gamer girl.

The girl gamer is the one that acts like a girl ahead of acting like a gamer, and is generally as portrayed above. They abuse the shock value of being one of a very small demographic to gain attention.

I've got Schizophrenia. That makes me part of a very small demographic! WEE! LOOK AT ME!! I'M DIFFERENT AND SPECIAL!

In a nutshell, annoying.

The gamer girl is the one that actually enjoys playing games, and doesn't make any attempt to throw to the fore the fact that she is, in fact, a girl, allowing other people to take note of this obvious fact themselves.

This is the kind that most nerds wish they were dating, myself included.

Pity they're a small percentage of that small demographic >.<

FULL OF WIN

I preferred the art style of the main character in the second half, where she was rendered without lips, but that didn't serve to damage my impression AT ALL.

This was EXTREMELY epic, you're an excellent animator.

Only bug is that the music keeps going once the animation loops back to the title screen; use your stop-alls!

Touching.

This is simply one of the best things I've seen out of newgrounds in a very, very long time. Jokes and comedy, no matter how intelligent, do get old after a while, and for the most part, that is what this community produces. People like you and animations like this shatter the mold, and renew my faith that we're beyond simple gags as an artist's community.

Though there are quite a few sad flashes on this site, the one thing this movie excels at is contrast. While other sad movies are simply a gauntlet of crushing anxiety, this movie starts with such an air of cast-back pleasure and simple love. The sudden, violent transition from happiness to panic, and then to despair is what truly makes this movie.

Great work. I can't wait to see more out of this series.

Awesome!

Man, I loved the multi-camera idea. Particularly at the first segment, where you could check the radar and look at the computer's webcam as well, excellent idea.

That combined with your current animation skill could create something well and truly epic.

Good message.

I like to see artists that understand the Flash medium as art, instead of a medium for mindless mini-games and video-game parodies.

@olvvvvlo:
The message went RIGHT over your head, didn't it?

Oh, man...

What a way to end it!
Bloody hell, mate. You are a genius; a living legend of the keyframe and syntax!
This was like the huge, amazing epilogue the last game was sort of hinting at.
And beyond emotional value for the players of the series, the animation was fantastic (for a week, at least), and the music was brilliant. The way it was timed with the words, it made it seem like the chords themselves were speaking.

And the little interactivity, that just brought a smile to my face. It's been ages since I finished the games, and it brought up some little happy memories.

Did I mention you're a genius? You're a genius.

Damn you.

I can't breathe.
I think I've ruptured my diaphram.
And all because YOUR cartoon was SO DAMN FUNNY!!

Awesome.

Not quite as thought provoking as Apples, but still pretty damn funny XD
Sure, it wasn't intelligent comedy, but sometimes, it's great to get a laugh just from things that shouldn't happen, in this case... overreaction, and a significant dose of random.

@Scroler:
Before you bitch about other peoples' work, how about you try to make some yourself?

Merol responds:

Hah, glad you liked it man!
THANKS A LOT!!!

Yup...

That was pretty much my reaction.

Awesome.

I've always loved that intro; all the story, all the questions, and all the implications posed by that little speech... then that final line.

"So wake up... Mr. Freeman. Wake up... and smell the ashes."

Epicness undefined.

Great work; I've always loved typographic art, and this took it to a whole new level for me. Keep it up!

Tried animation, quickly learned it wasn't for me. So hey there, welcome to a writer's NG profile :) Message me if you're interested in a sample of my work, or my services, if I might be so bold.
